~ Very Frustrating! ~

While browsing ebay this evening I came across some pictures that looked awfully familiar!....that's because they're MINE!....there's a seller who is using pictures in their auctions that they stole from my web shoppe!!....SHAME ON THEM!!....their ebay ID is: ouacl.l.c ....this is so frustrating because I spend alot of time photographing my products myself and they're just copying and pasting my pictures into their auctions! GRRRR!!

Janet,
So sorry to hear that someone is using your pictures on ebay...that is so very wrong!!
I had someone ask a while back about using some of my pictures on their site and I said only if I got credit for them...so she never used them. And I keep checking to make sure that she isn't!!

Wow! Using your pics to get sales is wrong! We are home builders and my hubby has his realtors license so he has access to the realtors multiple listing. We saw a picture of one of our houses being used to sell another builders home that was similar but had not been built yet. It's just wrong. Shame on them. Have you contacted ebay about it? You need to watermark your pictures from now on in. It's just wrong for someone to do that. I wonder if Ebay can help?

So sorry about that. You can contact ebay to inform the situation.

OMGosh Janet that is sooooo wrong and it's for sure illegal. You have copyright on them even if they are not registered just because THEY ARE YOURS...
Please e-mail her about this...which I'm sure you already have.
E-bay always wants to hear from people with these issues...they don't like it either so notify them.

That just makes me so angry!
You do need to watermark your photos, Janet! Sadly, there are people out there who just don't have a conscious!! They think everything on the WWW is FREE for the taking!! :(

Yes-as soon as you take a photo it's YOURS and you own the copyright to it!

I have seen so many complaints lately about this happening...It's sad!

Hope you can get EBAY to do something about it.

Hi Janet
Thanks for stopping by and joing my blog today.....I just checking out yours now and as usual Its wonderful....I was also just reading your "Very Fustrated" posting ~ Isn't it said! I just went through the same thing yesterday but this is not the first time...People don't realize that it takes alot of hard work to photograph our wares....they just take the easy way out...Instead of building there own style and look
SAD! Sorry to hear Janet
