~ King size Stripe # 5 Blanket/Coverlet ~

Happy Monday people!...I am wondering if someone out there in blogland might be interested in a gently used king size blanket coverlet?...it's one of the textiles that I sell in my shoppe...it's a pattern from 2 years ago that I kept for myself but since I'm redoing our bedroom, I just don't have the space to store a king sized blanket!...it's the Stripe #5 pattern in brown/linen and can be used as a blanket layer or as a bedspread...I'm asking $68.00 plus shipping, which is half the price of the new king stripe in my shoppe...if you'd like to buy it, just leave me a comment and I'll contact you...thanks! ***UPDATE** The blanket/coverlet has been sold *THANK YOU!*

~ Happy Valentine's Day! ~

I adore hearts and heart shaped things and usually decorate more extensively for Valentine's Day because of it. This year though there just hasn't been time due to all the work entailed in painting and getting new carpet installed in the master bedroom (more on that in another post down the line) But I do have a few hearts that are always out and some that I just had to bring out and I'd like to share them with you on this Valentine's Day 2012.

goodies that are kept out all year long:
items that are available in my shoppe:hooked rug mat made by Stephanie of Old Colony Primitives:wall box display, kept this way throughout the year, with a wee spool doll made by Karen of Olde Cottage Primitives:
heart mold found in an antique shoppe several years ago that is hung year 'round:the next three things are goodies handmade by Barbara of Turkey Hollow Folk Art that I've collected over several years, the first being the newest addition:
a bowl full of yummy pinkeeps, some made by me from a Country Rustic Primitives pattern, one made by Susan of Olde Threads, one made by Wendy of Pineberry Lane, a coverlet heart from The Bean House Store, along with a doll made by Jenn of Rabbit Hill Primitives and my latest purchase is the heart shaped fabric covered box with the wee kitty also made by Jenn, ain't it cute?
That about does it for this year's Valentines. On Saturday we had a wee burst of snow! If you know me, you know that I love winter with a passion and this winter has been almost nonexistent so to have these few flakes fall was almost a miracle!
I am going to leave you with a picture from one of my all time favorite movies of one of the most romantic couples, in my book anyway, of all time, Miss Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler!
Happy Valentine's Day!
