~ Glistening Willow ~

Gosh it's too bad I cannot capture how lovely my willow tree looks this morning. She is getting so much green on her now. It rained last evening and this morning the sun shining on her makes her look sparkly, it's so cool! But since my backyard faces east I'm taking the picture right into the sun and it's just not working. This is the best picture I could get for now, can you see the glistening? I planted her as a wee little baby six years ago this month, I will have to take a picture of her during the summer in all her glory and post it along with her baby picture, I just love that tree! I hope you can see something more than just a blob of green stuff, LOL....have a great Wednesday everyone!

Hi Janet,

Thanks for stopping by. My coverlet is from Family Hierloom weavers but I understand this pattern is now discontinued. I hope they make more in king size - so many of us have gone to that size bed!

Your willow is so pretty! I have always wanted one.

Have a great day, hugs, Linda

Your willow is beautiful. I have 4 willows in my backyard but they aren't the weeping variety. They sure leave a lot of sticks on the ground after a heavy storm, but their beauty makes it worth the clean up.

Take care, Kris

Janet, I LOVE your willow tree. It reminds me of our yard when I was a little girl in the country. I always played in that tree and it was so special. Thanks so much for sharing and bringing back such a nice memory. We'll have to compare Idol notes tomorrow! Dawn

Your willow is beautiful Janet, I love weeping willow trees! We had one many years ago at one of our other homes, and I miss it. Can't wait til our trees start turning green, they are so bright in the spring....enjoy! blessings, kathy

Well, another week of Dancing and Idol is over! I wasn't surprised with the results this week on either show. Didn't know anything about pictures of Adam on the web, I'll have to look into that. I'm not big on him either, but I just have a sneeking feeling that he will win. The judges really seem to be into him. Have a great day and enjoy your willow tree! Dawn

Good morning Janet. Aren't those little Terri hearts adorable? The pictures don't do them justice! I'm thinking that might be a great Mother's Day gift for someone. Have a great SUNNY day! Dawn

Good Sunday Afternoon! All of our plans have changed - for the better. We finally have some sunshine and I'm going to get out and work in my flower beds. Dick is going to help get everything ready for spring in Michigan. We won't really be able to plant for about another month, but at least it will be ready. Have a great day! Dawn

I just happen to love old houses, guess it's in my blood! Both of my children also live in old houses - they must have got it from their mom! My dream would be to be out in the country, with a shop on our property - in an old house! Wish you could come porch sit with me! Dawn

Well, to say I was shocked at Idol was an understatement. Could you believe the look on Adam's face when he went into the bottom three? This could all end up being a big surprise! Dawn

Yup, it's getting down there on Idol! I'm still cheering for Danny! I was sorry to see Chuck eliminated on DWTS too. They are all good now, but I did think Ty would go (although he seems like such a nice guy). Stay tuned in for next week! Dawn
