~ The Jacarandas ~

The street on which we spent our last 15 years in Southern California was lined with Jacaranda trees and this is how they looked in the spring. The lavender flowers were beautiful indeed but oh how messy they were! When they fell from the tree they would cover our driveway with sap and I remember when our boys were little they thought it was cool to run over the flowers with their trikes and bikes because the flowers would stick and build up all over their tires, LOL....seems not so long ago but my baby is turning 19 tomorrow so I guess it has been a fair amount of time....time does fly doesn't it?

Those trees are beautiful, but I can sure understand the mess. Isn't it amazing how fast our children grow up??? I can't believe that mine are 40 and 29!!! Oh well, the relationships just get stronger and stronger as the years go on. Have a great day and don't forget DWTS! Dawn

Thanks for the comments about Ashley's shower. It was lots of fun! I am so lucky to still have my folks, they are 86 now and I can see changes with both of them as each year passes. Have a great day! Dawn P.S. Don't forget Idol tonight! Who's your guess to go this week?

That sure as a shocker on DWTS!!! My hubby and I were both stunned. Wonder how it happened? Who do you think will go on Idol tonight? I'm afraid Chris might be in trouble, but I really like him. Danny is still my favorite though. Stay tuned... Dawn

Yes! I was happy about the results, but I'm afraid Chris will be next. He seems like such a nice kid, so humble. Who do you think will win? Have a happy Mother's Day!!! Dawn
