It's Mid-September!!!

Oh my goodness where does the time go??!!!...it sure does fly by whether you're having fun or not!...our summer was NOT fun I can tell you that!...hubs had to have surgery and recover from that, he is doing good :::knock on wood::: and oldest son had an accident on his motor scooter from which he suffered facial fractures and a compression fracture in his back...that was very scary!...thankfully he's ok, his full faced helmet saved his life I'm sure! I am STILL waiting on the Johnston Benchworks chair that I ordered for my bedroom makeover and as soon as it arrives I will do a post about that...I'm going to be offering the brown make-do chair up for sale...it was made by Pat of Olde Bittersweet Farm...I hate to part with it but when the new chair arrives it is going in its place, so if you've missed out on the chairs she's offered on her Picture Trail, let me know if you'd like this one...here's a couple pics of it in our bedroom BEFORE the makeover:

...the fabric is a luscious solid brown linen, I have a runner laying over the back which is not included...the chair leans slightly back so you will need to set it up against a wall just to make sure it doesn't fall over backwards...Pat sells them on her Picture Trail for $295 I believe...I am asking $250 plus shipping which will be through Fedex and will cost between $50 and $75 depending on how far you are from Virginia...remember now, these 2 pics are BEFORE the bedroom makeover!...the rose carpet is gone! LOL
