~ My New Chair ~

Well my rocking chair got done sooner than I expected and it is now home and in its place!




It is done in black over red with a slight crackle finish to it.






It even looks good with my silly mauve carpet, ha!




Now I think I need to find just the right little pillow to set in the chair, something that husband will have to move everytime he sits in it, teehee!

    The rocker is just gorgeous. I love the finish on it with the red undercoat. You chose the perfect spot for it, right next to the fireplace. How cozy is that!!!!???? I can picture you rocking in it near a crackling fire. Enjoy it! Hugs, Loretta

    OH MY!! How did I miss this? Must have missed it with the dad in the hospital confusion? What a gorgeous piece! I just love it. So colonial/prim. I hope you find JUST the right pillow for it - a nice big one for hubby to move! LOL
