~ Autumn 2016 Decorating ~

Greetings friends!  I hope all is well with you and yours.  This post brings you a few pictures of this year's fall decorating.  It's always an exciting time of year with cooler weather and the approaching festive season, I just love it!

The first picture is in our breakfast nook, the flowers you see on the olde stepback are the Mini Poppy Bush that are available in my shoppe!

The next is a little dough box table my hubs made, on it I've got a pinkeep made by Tina Woltman, and the pillar candle is one of those nifty new moving wick thingies that I got from Pottery Barn.

This year, in my coffee table bowl, I've got some artificial leaves, Salem pumpkins, a berry sprig, and some indian corn from the grocery store.

I have this olde sieve hanging on the wall in the foyer and I put a different pinkeep in there for every season. This one was made by Jenny of Country Rustic Primitives

A mix of antiques and new...the beautiful flowers are called Breezy Autumn Blooms and are available in my shoppe!

Atop the olde pie safe I just added a small pumpkin for the season.

The white basket was made by Pam of Primitive Basketcase, it is filled with Fall Boxwood Shrub from my shoppe. The sweet doll was made by Lori Rippey, and the Tall Cream Pumpkin is also available in my shoppe!

The lovely hooked rug was made by Stephanie of Olde Colony Primitives. The vase is something that sold in my shoppe several years ago, and the flowers I've had quite awhile are from Pottery Barn.

On the fireplace mantel are some decorating wares that have been in my personal collection for many years. I recently even switched out my sconces for these that I had up many years ago. I just felt like a change!

This table is in our foyer...the tin lamp is the Charleston Lamp that is available in my shoppe as is the Fall Boxwood Shrub that I have in the vase on the right.

The boot bench, which was made by my hubs, sits on the right side of the fireplace hearth. I've got a fabulous cross stitched pillow that I bought a couple of years ago from Pam of Primitive Basketcase, along with a Salem pumpkin and a Hog Scraper Candlestick with one of my Pumpkin Patch Tapers that are both available in my shoppe! I hope you enjoyed my little tour, happy fall y'all!

~ Happy Fall Y'all ~

Well technically it's not yet Autumn for another week and a half but it seems like most of us do our decorating just after Labor Day and that's exactly what I did!  I snapped a few pics and thought I would share :)

Black Stepback Cupboard: the adorable little pumpkin head was made by Norma Schneeman, the beautiful hooked mat was made by Stephanie of Olde Colony Primitives, the wooden acorn mold was made by Art, her husband, the lovely pinkeep was made by Tina Woltman, and the festive mini poppies are available in my shoppe!

Fireplace: I just tossed a couple of pumpkins up here for a seasonal touch. The clip rush light is an item I sell in my shoppe as well as the sconces but in candle version. The wooden onion bottles were made by Pat and Don of Olde Bittersweet Farm and the rod candles are from 1890 Gable House Goodes. I offer a smaller version with dark candles in my shoppe!

Rocker Corner: in my rocking chair, I've placed beautiful pumpkin pillows made by the lovely Barbara Young. The Tobacco Cloth curtains are available in my shoppe!

Doughbox Table: this little dough box table was made by my hubs, I've displayed a couple handpainted boxes from my shoppe along with items from my personal collection.

Foyer Table: this table is in our foyer...the tin lamp is the Charleston Lamp that is available in my shoppe as is the Fall Boxwood Shrub that I have in the vase on the right.

Primitive Stepback Cupboard: the doll hanging on the left was made by Jackie of T.F.C. Folk Art...the candleholder on the left in front and the berries are available in my shoppe!

Wash Stand: items from my personal collection

Breezy Autumn Blooms: I am loving the new Breezy Autumn Blooms available in my shoppe! I plopped mine into an olde brown crock from my personal collection.

Coffee Table Bowl: some artificial pumpkins that I've had forever surrounded by the Bittersweet Garland I sell in my shoppe.

Pinkeep by Jenny (Country Rustic Primitives): I have this olde sieve hanging on the wall in the foyer and I put a different pinkeep in there for every season.

Boot Bench: the boot bench, which was made by my hubs, sits on the right side of the fireplace hearth. I've got a fabulous cross stitched pillow that I bought a couple of years ago from Pam of Primitive Basketcase, along with a Salem pumpkin and a Hog Scraper Candlestick with one of my Pumpkin Patch Tapers that are both available in my shoppe!

That concludes my Autumn 2015 tour.  I completely forgot to post my summer pics!  I've been concentrating on maintaining my recent weight loss of 120 lbs.  I was on the Nutrisystem plan from January 2014 to June of this year.  After reaching my goal weight, I am bound and determined not to gain it back as has happened in years past.  It does take some doing, I keep track of every calorie that goes into my face LOL and I weigh on a digital scale every day in order to keep a very close eye on the situation!  I think this time I've got it figured out!  I am currently trying to work in a Pumpkin Spice Latte, those things have a lot of calories but what's Autumn without at least one! haha

~ Better Late Than Never I Suppose! ~

Happy Sunday Friends!...I finally got around to snapping a few pics around the house and thought I'd share.  Now that April is more than half over, it'll be time before you know it, to put away spring and decorate for summer!  Where does the time go??

The first picture is entering our living/family room:

This picture is also in the living/family room just around the corner:

A close-up of the pie safe:

This year's coffee table bowl. The flowers are all available in my shoppe! I'm in love with the new Potted White Lavender!! The pinkeeps and hooked mat were made by Stephanie of Olde Colony Primitives.

The boot bench sits to the right of the fireplace.  The Hog Scraper Candlestick and Green Buttercreme Tapers are available in my shoppe, they smell divine!!

This is the olde wash stand that sits under the window left of the fireplace.  The flowers and chamberstick are available in my shoppe. The bunny was made by Lori of Homespun Prims.

An olde ladderback chair that sits to the right of the entertainment center is where I display some of my favorite handmade dolls.  The gorgeous lady rabbit was a new addition last year, she was made by Norma Schneeman.

Another spring display atop a little doughbox table that the hubs made several years ago.  Everything is available in my shoppe except the plate, it sold out!

This is a table in the foyer.  The Charleston Lamp is an item offered in my shoppe. The handmades are from Pam, Jenn, Barbara, Jackie, and Lori.

The black stepback cupboard that the hubs made several years ago is a favorite piece of furniture. Hanging on the left door is the English Lavender Bouquet that's available in my shoppe and the little red flowers in the box are the Wispy Wildflower Bush also available!

This display is on another stepback cupboard that sits in the breakfast nook.  Everything shown is available in my shoppe!

On the foyer wall hangs this sifter in which I always display a seasonal pinkeep, this one was made by me from a Primitive Betty Freebie pattern. I hope you enjoyed my spring tour!
